 scanlogd detects port scans and writes one line per scan via the syslog(3)
 mechanism. The daemon obtains a raw socket at startup and processes IP
 packets sent to the system. If a source address sends multiple packets to
 different ports in a short time, the event will be logged.
 
 There're scanlogd packages for SuSE and Debian, and an OpenBSD port in the
 ports collection.
 
 There's a Win32 port of scanlogd, by Michael Davis.
